Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum and am getting a GSD puppy in May. I was just wondering as my dog gets older and becomes grounded in obedience training what other mental stimulation games can I teach and play with him?

Clicker training for tricks and fun commands! Agility! Rally! Obedience! Schutzhund (not necessarily the protection part)! Teach him to pick up stuff off the ground and give them to you! Move to advanced commands- so he can sit and down, try to get him to sit and down for very long periods, or on elevated objects, high distractions, etc. What you can do is only limited by your imagination and resourcefulness!
