she is still young and learning. It could be possible the other dogs not being leashed is what triggered her. I mean i think you did fine as you already know the dogs and the guys from previous meetings. You were able to get her under control and redo the introductions and they played, i'm assuming without any real aggression, but some pups you never know! so i would say you did fine. I wouldnt suggest not using the prong however until she's totally reliable to not react that way.
