Re: Male Lost In Raritan Il-Search 1/26
Update.......
We would like to ask for you help once again in the ongoing effort to find Jesse. We are planning a search Saturday Jan. 26th starting at 1 PM. The location for vehicles to meet is the Roseville Elementary School 265 West Penn Ave. just east of Main St.
Our goal is as many vehicles as possible with people willing to get out and do some walking as well.
We will try to sector each vehicle into a different area to cover as much as possible. Those of you who live in this area are our biggest asset and we want to thank each one of you for opening your hearts to this dog.
If you can spare some time on Saturday to join us we would be so appreciative. We are coming form Cedar Rapids Iowa.
An animal communicator had been contacted a few days earlier. This gentleman was in New Zealand when he called and said that Jesse's energy was good. He gave us a location of W. Jackson St. in Macomb where E and N 1200th St intersects. As it turns out, Jesse's adoptive mom Nancy was sitting in an office in that location when I called and gave her the information.
Our search will include the areas around Raritan, Smithshire, Olena, Macomb, Monmouth, Table Grove and Vermont. Quite a large area.
Jesse was lost from his adoptive home on Tues Jan. 15th, 10 days after his arrival in Illinios. That location address is 397 10th St. in Smithshire.
He arrived at the Cedar Rapids Animal shelter in mid-October after the death of his owner. He was fostered for almost 3 months in Marion, Ia before his recent adoption and move to IL. He was wearing a padded black collar with tags. His most identifying feature is a recent surgical scar on his left hind knee. The hair should still be significantly shorter in that area.
Jesse is very attached to men but will be frightened to approach any one. If spotted, assistance might be needed to capture him. He is not aggressive but will obviously be confused and fearful.
There remains a $600 reward for his return.

We will never forget the kindness the people in this area have shown us. We look forward to meeting you tomorrow. Thank you so much!
