Hi All,

New baby on the way, huh? Too bad these people do not know how rewarding it is to raise a child and a dog together! I would be a different person had I not grown up with my dogs. Sad.
I don't think I can raise my kids wo dogs. LOL
Beautiful, maybe they think BC mic b/c she is smaller and thin? But my Kenya is PB sable and the same way (smaller, thin, finer boned).
Wow! She's beautiful! I agree that she looks totally purebred. Poor girl, I hope she finds a nice family that won't throw her away.

We emailed these people to see if we could go see her. We have a 5 1/2 month old male . Would it be a bad idea to add another to our family at this point? Should we wait until he is older?
My boyfriend said we'll tell them if they can not find anybody to take her, we will foster her as neither one of us wants to see her go to a shelter. We also noticed that the same people have two four year old chocolate labs to sell. All three dogs seem to be healthy and well cared for from the pics.
wow!!looks like a pure bred to me, beautiful
When I go to the site, I don't see anything about a mix. Unless a "sable german shepHARD" is a mix.

Beautiful dog.

we emailed them and said unless you know for sure that there is border collie in it, it looks to us as you have a pure sable german shepherd......then have since updated their ad
Yeah, sable girl.. I mean,
they don't know how to spell 'shepherd!'

Something a little fishy ?

it all depends on your situation and how much time you have. its definitely alot easier with two people to give each dog 1/1 time. even if your males obedience is solid now - keep in mind that it will go in waves for at least another year with or without a new addition. i would still take the drive over and meet this girl... see her temperament, training, and how much work she's going to need to adjust... then make your decision from there.
