Emma and Elle both love love love liver, and could eat it everyday if I would allow it....How much should they get of liver, lets say in a week, or is it ok, for them to eat it a lot? right now we use it as a treat.

Liver is very rich. Too much and it will give them the runs. Feeding it raw I would limit it to an ounce or two every day or every other day.

Not only is liver very rich, but very high in copper and vitamin A, both of which can be overdosed.

I give my dogs between 2.5-3.5 ounces per week, split into several servings, as part of their raw diets.
