I just had to share...
this beautiful boy came into the rescue a couple weeks ago and i've been starring at his photo up until a few days ago when he was adopted. this first face shot is honestly one of the most beautiful dogs ive seen. i love his color and how full his coat is, framing his face just like a lion.

he's over 100lbs so i'm suspecting possible shiloh shepherd? i dont know any difference in standard aside from size so...

anyway...

psh, your dogs look GREAT! Tilden is a wavy curly mess if i dont brush him

Fodder, you would be SHOCKED at how rarely I brush them. embarrassed I have to do it in the morning before I take a shower because I end up covered in hair - stuck to my clothes, on my face, picking it out of my mouth.... Consequently, I get around to it every couple of months, whether they need it or not.

How a dog like that ended up in rescue ... it just blows my mind. Wow, he is one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever seen! You guys always end up with some gorgeous dogs out there.

in Geronimos case his owner fell sick and was having heart surgery then i believe is in nova scotia or returning to nova scotia, so rescue got him. here are two others that came thru and left an impression in my mind last year...

well, nicholas and max came thru before i got Tilden and before i moved into the house. so my 17yr old golden helped me curb my temptation back then. now... its another story and i should probably be banned from their adoption events and website

Oh, he's gorgeous! Reminds me of my LH with his very long hair. He could be part Shiloh, considering his build. Sure is pretty though

Ditto, thankfully he was adopted. The LH's win my heart too.

Wow, looks like my GSD, but the guy is about 10 pounds heavier.

From the US, it is amazing how many wonderful GSD's end up in rescue.
