I'm going to build a homemade ramp for the backyard. It's where I'll start in building Cruz's agility course. I don't have any experience with agility courses but I'm going to give it a go.

I plan on using the composite decking material for the project also. This should give it a good lifespan. Also plans are to make it versitile enough that I can start low and increase the hieght to almost verticle. I just am wondering how high I should go. How high are some of the competetive ramps?

Lets see some pics. I should be able to come up with a hybrid of sorts on this ramp from looking at different designs. Even pics from dogs in competition are welcome. The more pics the better!

Right on! Thanks, I seen that thread before but for some reason could not find it again.

I went to Home Depot today and checked out the composite decking. That stuff is way heavier than I thought it would be. I may just go the plywood route with a frame and hinges. I'll figure something out.
