Hi there. We need to leave our puppy overnight at a kennel for 2 different weekends in July. We are going somewhere where he can't go. He is 5 months old tomorrow. He has been to the kennel for a day to get him used to it and then we are taking him again in June for a one night stay to hopefully get him used to it. Does anyone have any suggestions on ways to make it easier for him?

We recently boarded our foster. I took one of the beds from our living room that our dogs also use, Duke's favorite stuffed animal that he usually only has in his crate, and a tee-shirt that I had slept in for a few nights. I'm not sure if it made him feel better, but I felt a little better!

I also sent his food from home and the most favorite crate treats.
