So what size Kong’s do you recommend for a 9 week old GSD? I’d venture to assume the blue “puppy” ones would be the correct place to start but what about the appropriate size? The “large breed” ones seem awful big for a 2 month old puppy. (Let me know if I'm way off base here)

I don’t mind having to upgrade to larger sizes in a couple of months as they are "outgrown." At this point I'm mainly interested in the most appropriate size for the present. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hmmm. I still have the same Kong I got when Chloe was 12 weeks. Its a black one....probably medium.

She really does not like it unless it has peanut butter in it anyway, lol.

She loves her evil Cuz.

we got our boy at 9 weeks old and we got him a medium one. i don't like the idea of them being to small. now at 10 months he has a large one. if you get your pup a ball make sure it's large enough so he/she can't swallow it. our boy was playing with femur bones at 9 weeks old. good luck with your new puppy. they are so much fun.

I think we'll start w/ the medium ones...they do look about right.
