My sister recently moved down to Yuma, Arizona. They have a mastiff that they will need to kennel when they come back to Michigan to visit in late August as well as during the holidays. Can anyone recommend a good kennel around the Yuma, possibly the Phoenix area? I could then pass the information on to her. Thanks so much!
A few years ago we were in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area and kept passing by this place called "Raintree Pet Resort". It looked very nice from the outside, so we went in to see if we could have a tour -
This place was very nice! They have an in-ground swimming pool for the dogs; "luxury suites" with televisions; it was very clean and if we ever do need to board our dog in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, we'd definitely consider it! I think it was a little pricey, but looked like it would be worth it!
Here's the link to their website - we toured the Pinnacle Peak facility on North Scottsdale Road:
They could also look in the phone book. Find places that way, check them out, and ask for and CHECK client references.
As was said, they could also ask their vet. BUT a lot of vets offices also board so may not recommend another place. Might also try asking at grooming facilities if they know of any places. Same with any "mom and pop" pet suppily stores.
