Xena

German Shepherd Dog: An adoptable dog in Kearneysville, WV

Large - Senior - Female

Xena is a purebred female German Shepherd that was picked up as a stray on January 3, 2011. She is 8-10 years of age and has been diagnosed with a growth on her spleen that will need medical care. So we have classified her as a Special Needs dog.

Growth on the spleen doesn't sound good, and, given the fact that she is also a senior, will make her hard to adopt. Needs a special angel.......

What a classy, beautiful lady. Exudes confidence and poise in her pictures. I pray that a special person will come through for her. I wish I were made of money, she is so beautiful!

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know anything about growths on spleens? Is it treatable?

Also, how is her temperament with people, other dogs, etc.
I may be able to get her a home out here and I will pay for her treatments if it's treatable.
