He looks like a blue to me...sometimes the coat is tighter on the rare colors? His tongue looks very dark, too.
I liked that pic of him with paws up-his character is really showing!

I didn't know shepherds came in "blue" so I assume he is for sure mixed with something (I noticed the blue tongue, perhaps chow or akita although of course we all know any dog can have a blue tongue...)?

Something about his hind end looks off too, shepherd wise, but could just be really weak muscling I guess.

he's pretty. I'm pretty sure he's a blue and the tongue is just one of those things that happens every now and then. I love that second picture. its adorable.

Yeah those I'm familiar with, but never seen or heard of a blue. Interesting. I'm not sure I care for the color (not a fan of liver either) but it's certainly different and I can see why some would like it.

Thing I like most about the dilutes are the pale eyes. I love yellow eyed dogs, idk why. Ozzy has yellow eyes.

i'm not a fan of the livers but i like the blues. few years ago at the dog park back home there was a woman who had a blue and tan male shepherd. he was absolutely stunning. not a mean bone or future mean thought in that boys head. They were sending him into training to be a therapy dog. Dont know what happened to him after the last time i saw him.

I'm just a sucker for brown dogs.... Liver GSDs, chocolate poms, red Dobermans, red huskies, chocolate labs, red border collies, red merle Aussies.... Haha.

lol GSDs (dont care too much for white and liver but other colors are fine), Black and tan dobies. Not a fan of red coloring. want a black lab some day
