I've always fed Lola outside on the balcony but now that she's eating RAW I find she 1) tries to bury the chicken legs in my garden( yes only does this with chicken lol) and 2) the woodchips that cover our entire yard (except for the garden) tend to stick to the meat and I don't want her eating the woodchips.

So is it ok to feed her in her crate and also why is she burying the chicken vs eating it right away ?

I would feed her in her crate but clean the crate afterwards. I don't feed raw but my guess is maybe she buries the chicken because of the bones since dogs bury bones.

I feed at least one dog in a crate, twice a day.

I would continue to feed in the crate to ensure your dog is eating everything that you are feeding it and not saving some for a later time.....

My dogs are always fed in their crates. My yard is all dirt so I don't like to tempt fate. I live in Arizona where Valley Fever is common.

If there is no issue with feeding her in the crate I will keep doing that.
