Tonight was our 2nd intermediate training class (that Petsmart offers).
Durzo did so well this time. He is the youngest one in the class by 3 months.

He down-stayed even while other excited dogs walked past him, and his focus during heeling was way better than last week.
He learned to go to his mat (he got it so quickly the trainer thought we had already worked on it at home).
He showed off his "spin" & "bang bang" skills.
However...
Whenever we are out, I work on his recall. When we are out hiking off leash he runs back to me whenever I call (the first time).
But today I realized I still need to work on those skills. We placed a toy off to side/front of me, when I called him he went straight to the toy instead of me. So we have homework. :)

Regardless, I am so very proud of him.

good boy!!! Yeah we're working heavily on Dax's recall. I want that rock solid above all else at this point.

Aww! Sounds like a quick learner! Petsmart is really good, I have taken a lot of dogs there and they always learn a lot. Keep at it, and he will go straight to you when you call! And the ultimate test is a treat. If you have a treat and he sees it and you call him and he comes to you and not to the treat... he is as good as it gets! Good Luck!!:)
