Dakota is my 13 month old German Shepherd-Rottie-mystery mix. She's currently about 58 pounds and she eats really quickly like she's starved according to my dad. She's still very afraid of my dad because she was abused by a male before we got her at the shelter, so I think it's just because she's nervous when he's around, causing her to eat quicker. But he told me I should check into it, so I am....

I use an actual cup to feed her, about this size

I feed her about two cups using that kind of cup, so I was wondering if that's enough or too much? Please help! :)

I care about my sweet girl <3

What kind of food do you feed?

You will probably need to feed more if it's Iams. Iams is, no offense, a terrible food. If you purchase a higher quality, more meat based food, you can feed a lot less.Check out dogfoodadvisor.com :)

Orijen...

Orijen 6 fish and regional red (beef) combination works best for us. No chicken, eggs, grains or starches. 2 cups twice a day. She fluctuates between eating 2-4 cups daily.

Zena is 1.5 years old and is about 61 pounds. She's still pretty lean but very active.
