I have a 11 week old puppy.(Angel) She is doing really well with her potty training. However, she still gets up any where from 3 to 4 times a night to potty. I cut her water off at 7pm. I was just wondering what everyone else experiences has brought them with their puppies.
It took about a month for our pup to sleep thru. That was going down at 9pm until 6am. Know it seems like it didn't last long at all but while we were going through it, it seemed like forever.
Rajko took about 2 weeks, maybe a little less. So he was almost 10wks old when he was able to make it from 10pm to 6am. I just gradually extended the intervals of time for a few days until he reached that point.
He started to make it through the night at about 10 weeks, usually... Last night he woke me up at 5:45am. Generally it seems that he will make it 3 of 4 nights without needing to go out. Our hours are about 10pm to 7am.
He didn't seem to be completely empting his bladder when he was outside (distractions), so I started to treat him when it seems he did. Now he runs out and empties while looking at me to be sure I saw. Not sure if it actually helped, but it's pretty cute.
Hang in there! Glad to see you are restricting water.
