Hey there!

I am vetting my Bear for an allergy to Beef and Wheat. He has been on a beef/Wheat free diet for at least a month now, but the scaly skin and dandruff on his back upper hindquarters has not cleared.

How long would it take for an allergy reaction to clear? I'm giving him a good diet, but I have to cook a good portion of it and it is time consuming. If I don't have to cook it and the bumpy/scaly rash is something else entirely, then I need to know what kind of time frame I need for the test.

Bear is an 18 month old male, not neutered.

Zoey has environmental and food allergies. During camping trips she will start clearing up within a week. It's quite a change from our home (high desert) and where we camp which is wet evergreen forest.
