Max does this with his girl, shes an Afghan hound, but he only does this before she leaves or at the end of the date, been doing it for a few years, the Afghan doesnt mind, but when Max tries this with with Heidi, she turns he head and shows teeth, he backs away and stops, i would let the female tell him to stop, she may nip him once or twice, but he`ll get the message
