What do you all think? I've already talked to the Breeder and we've made arrangements per my pups health guarantee. But I want some opinions so I know if I made the right decision. She is 7 months old. I followed the 5 minute per month rule in exercise. I've been very careful with her and don't let her jump around.

Our regular vet took these. Not a specialist. I had the X-rays done because pup was bunny hopping some, had very stiff rear legs and nibbled in her hips often.

Yea, those aren't good. I am so sorry. If she is already showing signs of pain then it's likely to be an issue her whole life. Though there are things you can do to mitigate it. Keep her thin and well muscled, fish oils, glucosamine/chondroiten.

So sorry....that is probably severe dysplasia and unless you do serious surgery, she will be problematic her whole life....

as mentioned about, you can manage her to control the discomfort with supplements and keeping her thin

Agree with the others. They look like hips of a much older dog. They are already showing wear, and they are dysplastic. What does your vet say about them, and what is his suggested course of action?

Maybe Lee can give you an idea of what supplements would be best to give her the best chance of maintaining the hips with or without surgery.

I am sorry.
