Poor Honey Bear. She was recently turned into a rural kill shelter in the hopes that someone kind will adopt her. Honey Bear is a timid German shepherd who was not in the right home or environment for her needs. She is significantly underweight. She was initially defensive and withdrawn, but with a little kindness and patience, she is responding to the shelter staff. She will now walk on a leash, and allow the rural shelter staff to groom her coat without problems. The former owner reports that she is very good with children and other animals. Her current age is 2 years, and her estimated weight is 30#. Please consider adopting her today.
