Looking for tips on how to correct submissive peeing. Not huge amounts of pee, just a tiny bit but want to eliminate this behavior.
Usually happens on "sit".

Best way to correct it is to ignore it. Raising your voice or scolding her for it will likely just make it worse. Giving your cues in a quiet, calm, but happy tone of voice can help.

I agree. Just move on and ignore it.

Something that can help is controlling excitement levels in the dog by being very calm yourself. Be the dog. You set your excitement level where you want the dog.

I had this issue with my 1st shar pei... out of the crate in the morning, you let her on the floor- that’s what happened.
I would open the crate carry her outside right away. It was a matter of a few weeks till it stopped. I had her for 14+ years.
