Ace my 4.5 month old gsd has started getting droopy lower eyelids at times. He has not lost any baby teeth if that has anything to do with it. As a first time gsd owner is this normal or should I be worried. He was just at the vet last week and all was ok.:help:

hmmm...haven't experienced any droopy eyelids- could it be seasonal allergies? You're right, it is time for teething so I guess that could be causing it.

Hello! You're just right across the river from me.:) I think I would ask your vet about the droopy eyelids. I've never seen that. It's always better to be safe. Also, did you see his sire and dam? Did they have droopy eyelids? If the drooping is leaving the bottom part of the eye exposed, it could leave them more exposed to dirt and dust that could lead to eye infections and irritation.

By the way, who is your veterinarian? Would love to see pictures of your puppy.
Hello and welcome! Is this your 1st dog? Could this maybe be just how his eyes look when he is falling asleep (you can see his inner eyelid)?
