Hi Everyone!
Obviously, I am new to this forum. We are getting our first GSD (named Zora) this Saturday. She is an all black pup, with strong german lines from Abby Kennels in Chelmsford Massachusetts. She will be my first GSD, although my wife had several as a child. Prior to this, we raised an American Staffordshire Terrier who unfortunately had to be put down after his kidneys shut down.
Zora is coming to a home, with twin 9 year old boys and a 2 year old girl. This will be the first dog that the baby can remember (Teddy died when she was less than a year old) and she is very excited about "her puppy" as she puts it. We look forward to having her with us and I anticipate using this forum to learn more about the breed.
