Hello from Illinois!!! :)

We got my first gsd in late august this year my husbands third one. She is such a handful but so sweet and wonderful. Just perfect!! So glad I found this site although I can see we have made some mistakes already with her. She will be 20 weeks this friday I believe. Mistake one we brought her home at 6 weeks. I noticed a lot of folks say not to bring them home until 8 or so weeks. Mistake two on the advice of our vet we had her spayed at 16 weeks. After reading so many on here saying to wait I feel horrible about this now. Lastly but the only one I can fix is her food. I've been feeding her iams premium adult but am planning on switching her slowly to solid gold wolf cub beginning friday. Thankful for all the advice and experience on this site.

Look at that face and those ears!! She's adorable! There are differing opinions on when to spay and neuter- don't beat yourself up over it now, it's done and she looks wonderful. Has she been in any obedience classes yet?

Thank you all for the welcome. I love those bunny rabbit ears so much. lol The first one came up a day or two after we got her (in August) and the second popped up about a week later. Been up ever since. I wanted her to have puppy classes but hubby said she didn't need them. It's a shame to because she is so smart and seems to be a real quick learner. She has so much energy and is always right there underfoot. I'm still getting used to her always wanting to be with me. Love her so much, so much fun!!!:D
