I went to training in my quarter acre yard to teach Jake OFF lead obedience/focus and hand rather than voice commands.The reason I chose NOT using voice command was it seemed that he did not really need to focus on me if he could lollygag around and depend on voice command when he needed to pay attention.TODAY he was great focused on watching ME rather than paying attention to dog on street in front of house(he has dog aggression problems)!OMG it actually happened finally and I know WE can do it again.GOTTA love those rescue GSD that were smart enough to survive and are smart enough to learn WITH their rescuers!!HAHA I am SOO happy tonight!!I really needed this from my dog right now and he came through.

That's great to hear! Shepherds are so smart, sometimes it's scary. LOL Congratulations to you both. Give her lots of hugs and kisses!
