Not that I really expected him to, but this is beef jerky, after all.

I've never tried getting Knuckles to take food from me like this, in fact he learned from an early age that he cannot take food from anyone, not even the cats. But today I figured I'd try since he was really loving the smell of the jerky. At first he wouldn't even look at me, it took me a couple tries to get him to even TRY to get it from me. He finally figured out that I wanted him to and he was so gentle. Didn't expect less  Ok, I kind of did - we are still working on treat chomping. He gets over excited at chomps at treats, which can hurt, so I was a bit prepared to get bit in the face. But yet again, the Knucklehead impresses me.

So I had to let him have another piece so I could get a quick video of it.

Excellent! That was a sweet video, I could tell how gentle he was being taking the jerky from you! Good job.
We like doing things like that as well. Also make our Jaeger wait until we release him for treats we put right in front of his nose. He does pretty well and we're increasing the amount of time before release. :)
