I will be bringing my 8 week old GSD puppy (Rayna) home on Sunday to meet my 3 year old Dobie (Sophie). Sophie is a social butterfly so I am not worried so much about her as I am Rayna, who has only been around other shepherds. Does anyone have any advice to ease this introduction?

As long as your Dobe is accepting to her I am sure that they will do fine. You might gate one off in another room and let them get acquainted gradually that way if you are not sure of Sophie's actions.

As long as the dobie is fine everything should go great. I had a similar introduction when we brought Zoe home. We also have Phoenix a 7 year old red dobie male. We structured their time together and it was very supervised for the first few days because we weren't sure about Phoenix. He had been our only dog for 7 years. Zoe did great. Zoe is now almost 6 months old and they run and play together all the time.
