Hey All, I just rescued a wonderful 10 month old GSD. She's wonderful, no known pre-existing conditions.

From what I can tell, HealthyPaws is the recommended insurance plan here - is that still the case?

For my zip code (76052) HP is quoting about $48/month. As far as I can tell they only have one plan.

Is that roughly inline with what you'd expect? I want the absolute best care for this puppy, so if there's something better I don't mind paying for it, just want it to be there if/when I need it.

I've been reading older posts on these subjects for a few hours now and my chemo-brain is about to shut down hence my post.

I was with Healthy Paws when I lived in the US. Never made a claim but their customer service is easy to reach. Heard good things about Nationwide on this forum too
