THIS GUY CAME IN TO OUR SHELTER YESTERDAY. HE WAS A STRAY. HE IS A EXTRA SWEET GUY. HE NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION FAST. IF YOU CAN HELP THIS GUY PLEASE CALL THE SHELTER AND SPEAK TO PAULINE DAVIS OR EMAIL ME AT [email protected] THIS IS MURRAY COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER IN CHATSWORTH, GA. THE NUMBER IS 706-695-8003. THIS IS A KILL SHELTER BUT WE DO ALL WE CAN TO GET THESE ANIMALS OUT. IF YOU CAN HELP PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE CALL QUICK!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME!

OH NO....We've got to get him out!!!! After what that other shelter did to that senior.....I'm really scared for him! What the condition? Mange? Do we know what kind? POOR BABY!

I sent saveapet an e-mail, this shelter has NO funds to vet their animals /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/02_frown.gif. Saveapet is calling the vet they use to see what an exam will be, and I have offered to help with that, poor baby /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/20_bawling.gif

TANDB, just send an e-mail to the orginal poster, saveapet, she'll keep us informed of what will be needed. Though they do have an angel that will pay for his initial visit, YAHOO!! They are supposed to call the vet back as they didn't get a price for any shots needed. I told her MY vet would NOT vacinate a dog in that shape, poor baby /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/02_frown.gif.

You guys we do not have him on Petfinder but I will keep you all up to date on him. He is so sweet and does not deserve this at all. He was a stray so we have no idea about his past. We only want his future to be a lot better! We are looking into a vet but at this time we are out of foster homes that can keep him. We really need to find a place this guy can go to get better fast!!!!! I am up to any ideas anyone has. We work hard to help the animals at our shelter! As far as the info for the shelter I did not put it in the title but it is in the post! Thanks again for your time in this matter.

I agree that vaccinating a sick dog is not a good thing. Once it's determined that is not contagious mange, perhaps a foster will step up. I'm too far away to do that. I'm happy to kick in some money for this beautiful soul.

what are the chances that with some donations, the shelter can at least get him to a vet once, to determine type of mange?
would really improve his chances of rescue to KNOW which type.
(I think we can all tell it's mange, with infections on top of it.)
