Just wanted to share about the GSD in GA that was going to be sent to U of GA for experimenting is now safe in KY.

If someone could post these, I would appriciate it, I don't know how..
Here is a link to the pictures that Peter took of me and my daughter at the airport where Peter from Southern Cross GS Rescue flew him to me.
I can not say enough about Peter and Molly and how wonderful they are to save this awsome guy.
His new name is Cagney, previously Butler. Cagney is a wonderful dog! He loves people and he loves my girls (Cleo and Tana) Tana was not able to make it that day because she was sick. Cagney wouldn't have sitting in the front with me, he wanted to ride home in the back with Cleo.
Since October, when our beloved friend Bogie died after complications with Bloat surgery, my daughter has nightmares. (Bogie is the dog on my signature) When she was little, in order to get her to sleep in her room alone, we told her that Bogie could sleep in her room and that he ate monsters. From that point on she was able to get through the night, assured Bogie was taking care of the issues of monsters.
Without Bogie, in a new home (living with my mom while we build), she is scared almost every night, even though the girls sleep with my mom's papillon Max. Cleo said he wasn't big enough to eat monsters. I had to agree...
Now for the first time Cleo is sleeping though the night. Cagney is on gaurd and eating monsters. None have been reported since his arrival.
When Peter got off the plane and introduced us to Cagney, he told Cleo that he was really good at eating monsters. Cleo's eyes got big and a big smile came accross her face. I could see the wheels turning.... "Can Cagney sleep with us Mommy?"
We now have a full night sleep because of this wonderful Monster Eater, who loves my girls and we love him.
Here is what Peter wrote to me after or meeting at the airport...
He is sleeping next to my daughter right now, who is home sick, on gaurd for anything montster like.
I also want to thank all those who donated to help pay for Cagney's medical costs. We are happy to report that all costs were covered and I donated 50.00 back to Southern Cross to help cover the gas for the plane flight to KY, though they never asked for a dime.

Cagney loves to play and unfortuanlty crew on shoes (my husbands Cabella buffalo hide slippers), but we will over look it if he continues to eat monsters..Quote: I knew you would be.(happy with Cagney) As I say, I've had the
privilege to get to know over 200 GSD's, and his personality is
unmatched. Not sure he would make the best Schutzhund, but for
controlling monsters he's the one!
