Hi guys,

I have a 9 year old shepherd/husky mix. I recently noticed a growth on the back on his neck and have realized its gotten bigger. Has anyone seen this before and know if its just a skin tag or something that requires a vet?

Growths are funny things. Always better to have a vet look at it, especially if it's getting larger.

Looks similar to the skin tag Ranger "had". Our vet gave us the choice of leaving it alone or returning to have it removed with just a local. We decided to have it removed, however Ranger ended up removing it himself before his apt. Luckily it didn't bleed too bad, but some can. I would have your vet check it out to be sure.
