Riley has been limping on and off on his right leg. When he sits he doesn't put a lot of weight on his foot. Today the vet said he is growing to fast and his joints are hot. I need to feed him a lower quality food. He's been eating large breed grain free blue buffalo. What should I feed him to slow his growing down? I don't want to just buy any cheap food.

For slower and stronger joints and growth.....
Convert him to the RAW diet... Anything else, when they are showing problems to the dry kibble, anything else is just a compromise... IMO:wild: I love my Fantastic Four too much to chance it...

good luck with him

I had real good luck with both Eagle Pack and Fromm. Mine grew at a slow steady pace.

The food has been switched to just normal adult with grain dog food. So far so good. He doesn't limp anymore and his poos are better too.
