New dog owner here! Jaxson is a 2.5 year old GSD mixed with Husky and Malinois. I saved him from a bad situation about 18 months ago and I've completely fallen in love with him. Together, we're learning the ins and outs of dogs (sadly, I've only ever really had cats). We can't wait to see what this forum has to offer. Cheers!

jaxson is pretty! Welcome.

We have a GSD / husky mix who was rescued from a kill shelter on his last day ( by his foster mom).I can’t believe they were going to kill him - he is a well-behaved, calm dog who gets a lot of compliments on his looks when we are out. It is sad how many perfectly good dogs wind up in this situation. But anyway, we have been happy to give him a happy “second life” and I am sure Jaxson is grateful in his doggy way. ( I am convinced that they know...)
