Hello all. I know predicting girth measurements are not an exact science but I'm trying to purchase a harness for the growing pup.


She's 55 LBS right now at 5 months measuring about 26-27 inches girth. Breeder expects her to be 90 LBS. I figure she will be about that, maybe 80-90 LBS based off where she is right now.


Is it safe to say she will end up probably around 30-35 inches girth? She's pretty active so I expect her to be pretty lean and never overweight.

Think you are best to wait and possibly save some money. Can't tell you how much equipment I've purchased over the years by guessing how they will grow

Buy a harness now that is on it's smallest setting, but fits, and has plenty of room to expand while she grows. So at least she'll be in good shape for the upcoming months and when you go onto the largest setting will still have some time to purchase the next one. They ALL overlap and expand for this very reason..
