Gino Vonrokanhaus has been here a week now he is 12 weeks old.
i had post pics of him just before i got him, and will post more soon.
everyone seems to be getting along.....well the cat isn't to impressed. but i have been teaching Gino to ignore the cat.....so far so good.
Neka 2/12 year old DDR girl loves little Gino and he likes her. unfortunately i cannot let them play to much because of the size difference right now, and because Gino does not back down. he is not afraid of anything, noises, places,,,,,,,,,etc. nothing bothers him.
Toby my oldest GSD 12 1/2 put Gino in his place a few times, and gino does not bother him, which is GOOD.........
in a weeks time, he is already sitting and doing downs for food. he comes awesome, and his focus is already there. we took him to camp and he immediately went to the water got in and started swimming, his first time...........this guy is incredible.......
he sleeps all night in his crate without a peep. knows the pee command, and poop, has had no accidents in the house as of yet, although i don't give him an opportunity to either........
i am very happy with this little guy so far.......he is going to be fun to train. loves his tugs and rag toys and will go for them as long as i will play it. he is fetching a ball, he has seen Neka run for the ball and its been good programming for him, although i know the ball drive was there.............
many thanks to Kandi...for doing such an awesome job with this guy and all your puppies. he had a wonderful start!!!!!!!!
I was wondering where you were for the past week, and figured you had your hands full. Sounds like you do!
I'm glad you're enjoying him. So you've got him to pee and poop on command? Isn't that fun? Just like having a little automatic food dispenser, expect it's on the opposite end.
So now I'm going to do to you EXACTLY what you did to me 5 months ago..... WHERE'S THE PICTURES?????
well geeeeeeez..............i have been to busy to download pictures, i have been lucky enough to get a few in between tending three dogs.....Greg........... i will do some soon, and since i don't have time to figure out how to post them, that will be your job,,,lol!
anyway, did i say that Gino is also doing stairs up and down, absolutely no problem or apprehension at all. he is amzaing.
today, he is laying around on the kitchen floor with the big dogs, i haven't had to crate him all day...........in between sleeping, i play/spend time with him, he plays with neka, gets in his pool, chews bones, and eats Janpanese beatles, what a life!!!!!!!!!!
since you won't lend him to me to help tire Gino out, at least we can see pics!
i will be posting pics soon. Deb has explained to me in simple directions on how to do it. when i get time (which i don't have to much of) right now, i will post.
Gino is a very busy pup.......we are all in the adjusting stage!
Gino sounds wonderful.... and didn't I tell you that he had some backbone as far as the other dogs and not being afraid?? It was cute to see him barking at the dogs doing protection the week before he went home to you. They didn't phase him one bit!
For those of you wanting to see a picture of Carlo, there's one on Kandi's page at our club's website. Here's her page Kandi's page At the top, you'll see Hawk, then Degan (no pictures yet Kandi???), and then a big picture of Carlo.
Debbie, if you think YOU'VE got a handful.... you ought to take a ride down some Saturday and see Carlo.
yep, i got all i can handle with the three for sure!
having three so different ages is VERY challenging. i find it hard to entertain them all at such different levels...........but, we are managing thus far.
