I took my six month old puppy to the dog park today and let him run like crazy.
The only thing I noticed was that he was extremely exhausted and was laying down within 20 minutes of being there.
Most of the dogs there were at least a year old and they were all fine.
Does anyone think this has to do with his age? Him laying down in the middle of the park was just weird..

He may be starting to go thru a bout of Pano or is in a growth spurt. Teething takes a huge toll on a pup of this age. I wouldn't worry as long as you are feeding him an appropriate nutritious diet and he seems healthy otherwise.

Like she said, if he's eating and drinking, otherwise healthy it's probably because he's growing so fast. If he starts limping I'd worry about pano. Stosh 'rested' a lot at that age, slept quite a bit, now at 10 mos he's got more energy and stamina than when he was little.

Thanks guys. It's always nice to be able to relate with some people and their dogs.
I was worried because he just kind of stated this out of nowhere.

Brody does the same thing He plays for a good 20 minutes and then sits for about 5-10 minutes and watches everything around him while he "recharges"
