Hello everyone!

I've been wanting to join a GSD forum for a while and I've finally done it c:

I got our GSD Gaia about a year and a half ago.
She was already 2-3 years old and had been through 2 different owners.
I told them that I would be her last.

She did not come with papers, I don't know whether she ever had any. Her front half is very text-book shepherd (although white) but she doesn't have the sloped back of a standard GSD.

It's pretty obvious that she was not brought up right, and training has had its ups and downs, but she's my favorite out of our 5 dogs and hopefully joining a GSD community will help me come closer to her!
She's wild but I love her to bits!

Hi from a white Shepherd mix (other half is Husky)!

He is blowing coat now, so white tufts are everywhere.

Yours appears to be very good with cats!
Mine is not...the rescue said NO CATS for this guy!
We were totally OK with that, since it's also NO CATS for my husband (has cat allergies).
He's been with us for two years now.

Congratulations and good luck with the training. I'm sure that she'll come along quickly. She looks calm and sweet in that photo, sleeping next to those cats!

Thank you for the luck! :D

The picture was taken at my parents' house and the cats are theirs. It took a couple week of holding her back to get her to stop trying to chase them.

We have 3 cats at our home and Gaia doesn't try to hurt them, but she can't stop herself from trying to chase when she sees them run!

We're working on it, but she's a quick leaner c:
