I'm not sure about copying it, keeping the copy, and selling the original, but I know Ed Frawley actively pursues anyone that sells copies of his DVDs... you might want to be careful. Just sayin'.

I didn't make a copy of the DVD on a cd or anything. It's just in my documents on my computer, if I ever decide to review it again. Would never copy it and sell it, just selling the orginal one I bought.

If you are keeping a copy and reselling the original, it is still illegal. Selling the original may be legal, but keeping the copy (on your computer or where ever) is not, as far as I'm aware.

" According to the law, you are entitled to the backup copy only as long as you have the original in your possession. If you end up giving away or selling the original, then you will either need to have the backup copy go along with the original or destroy the copy in order to stay on the right side of the law."

Ok, wow! Interesting! Just deleted it from my documents. Already watched it, so shouldn't need to see it again.

I'm guessing the same applies to music, so putting it on another device like an MP3 and giving it to a friend it illegal too since the orginal would be separated from the copy? I had no idea. My daughter is a Music Business B.S. major, and I didn't know about this . Guess I'll be asking her questions when she comes home for Thanksgiving.
