Ruger is going through her chew everything phase but I had her beat.
She could see the shoe, but couldn't chew it for some reason.

Then this afternoon she was stirring up a big male kangaroo who was grazing along our fence line.
When they are ready to attack, they sit back on their tail and stand tall and if you get too close he will grab you and then rip you to bits with his rear legs.
That fence is about 7 foot tall BTW.

Someone I knew swore up and down they saw a kangaroo hopping across Texas.

With those big game farms I suppose anything is possible!

How are the roos with dogs? Are they likely to attack or run?

As for the kangaroos, my house backs onto a golf course here and there is a resident mob of kangaroos that call it and the surrounding country home.
Normally the roos will scatter when you get too close, but the big dominant male of the mob will also stand his ground as shown in the pics and try and lure
a dog for example within range then they will grab it with it's powerful front legs and then rip it to shreds with it's powerful hind legs that have very sharp claws.
One of their other tricks is to get dogs to chase it into water and then grab and drown the dog.
Smaller kangaroos you could fend off and only get some scratches for your trouble, but the big males can stand well over 6 foot tall and are very strong.
So it's safer to leave them alone.
