Flea/Tick repeller?

Has anyone used one of these? Do they really work?

I saw an Innotek Electronic Flea & Tick Repeller that is worn on the collar - it says it "annoys" the little buggars and they leap off...

I take it no one has heard of these, so don't spend the money on one?

I used a pest repeller in my house that has to be plugged into an outlet. And thanks to my dog being home most of the time, fleas are no longer a problem. Although at least once a week he has contact with other dogs who probably have fleas. I can recommend the pest repellent Ultrasonic Plug-in Pest Repeller I purchased here.
