I am excited to own my first German Shepherd I have spent the last few weeks reading various books and forums on here to prepare for what I am accepting and to make sure I can give the dog the life and proper daily things that he needs. I am curious what color he will turn out his dad was a very nice balance of black and tan and the mom was mostly a lighter tan with little black on the back and face. His AKC registration papers was given to me, I am not planning on breeding him but I should do the registration anyway correct? This is the first purebred dog I have ever owned.
