Lorelei, what a gorgeous male. I really like him.

Masculine male with an ok withers, very good topline though his croup should be longer. He is very balanced with good angulation front and rear though his upper arm could be longer. His pasterns are a bit straight, but he has very good feet. Great head.

Lorelei, you need to post Dexter's pedigree on the pedigreedatabase.com site.

Lisa,

Thank you so much for your input. A few questions as I am just learning to look at a dogs structure more closely. What are you looking for in the withers?? I understand the croup and front shoulder area but not the withers yet.
Hope this generates some discussion as other people are learning as well.

The withers, the top of the shoulder, should be higher than and flow into the back. His are slightly higher, but would be considered flat by most judges.
