First is could someone take a look at my furture pups pedigree and tell me if they know anything about it. My pups sire is zulu and i forgot what the females name is that is being used but needless to say the site hasnt been updated but she has the same dogs and pedigree from 2006 the site is http://www.vwgs.com/.

Second is about breeding. From what i can gather and im sure i could be way wrong about this but how the pups will be and the genetics they get will lie heavily on the female is that right? So my ques. is, is what exactly does the male contribue to all this and if that seems to be the case then whats the point of getting a male titled if the female is what mainly matters. Thanks in advance guys i appreciate it.

Puppies get half of their genes from EACH parent. The only reason the female has more to do with the way the pups might turn out is because she RAISES them.

Genetics are 50/50. The dam will have more influence over the pups environmentally though and it is important that the dam is sound physically and mentally with a solid temperament.

Zulu is one of my favorite German show line males. One of the main reasons was he was a working SAR dog when he still lived in Germany. I talked with Jack at great length about Zulu several years ago. I was quite impressed with everything I heard about Zu, not only from Jack but from other GSD ppl as well. Zu seems like the total package with nice structure, solid nerves and true working ability to do one of the many functions that GSD were orginally bred to do.
