My 11 month old gsd was recently In the hospital for Mycoplasma
pneumoniae. She was in the ICU for 4 days, and they discharged her last night. She still has pneumonia and is still taking antibiotics, but for the next month she isn't allowed to do much exercise. She's used to 3 mile walks daily, and dog parks once a week, but the most we can exercise her is a small walk every once in a while, definitely not enough for her high energy personality. What would you recommend we do to keep her occupied? Lots of mental exercise is what I have in mind, but she will become so uncomfortable and obnoxious without her exercise. So any ideas? Thanks!

I agree with Ruth. I'd also recommend going on line and finding some fun new tricks to teach her. It'll keep both of you entertained.
