I have no clue where to put this question!

Has anyone tried the Elk Antler for chew/bones for their dogs? I have a foster who is a great chewer -- in fact, one of the jumbo Hercules bones is being crumbled into bits.

I read about the Elk Antlers being very tough and long lasting. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks!

Sue

My apologies -- I couldn't get the search to work and just did, so have lots of info. Not sure how to delete this?

You can PM a mod or admin and ask them to delete the thread I believe.

But I was curious myself - if you get antlers from hunters, do you have to do anything specialize to sanitize or sterilize them?

I've only used deer antlers but out of bully sticks, himalayan chews, and deer antlers, the antlers are the most long lasting then himalayan chews then bully sticks.

My dogs like them, they do last a long time. But I have had a few times when pieces, rather large, came off so its a supervised only chew.
