This girl is at Bladen County A/C in Elizabethtown, NC. They have VERY limited shelter hours so contact me if you are interested in this girl and I'll put you in contact with someone who can help you.

Young, nice temperament with other dogs in pen, only around 40 lbs.

Well, now I just found out that she wasn't an owner surrender but was a stray. Confusion

Anyway, we are going to pull her. I've made arrangements to get her later today and she will be my new foster.

Yes, thank you SO much, Lori! You will like her. (I pulled her and will be meeting Lori in a little bit.)
Here is a sneak preview of her first step as a freed girl:

Her front left leg has a problem that will need loooking at. She doesn't want to put full weight on it. If you look back at the first pic in the shelter you can see it also. She is definitely a baby and still has baby canines! Guess what ? SHe LOVES attention!

See you soon Lori!

Ok - here we go. Mods you can move to where are they now forum.

She is a beauty and soooooooo sweet. We were a block from the house and she puked in the car - go figure...I think it was just car sickness. Krista and her wonderful hubby had already given her a capstar and a flea bath which I am VERY thankful for! She had intros to the rest of the gang and then took a little break in the crate while I went out to clean the car. Fed her a little food (didn't want to give her too much in case she got sick again) but so far so good. She definitely has something going on with front leg, but she doesn't let it stop her at all! Here are some pics...

Please keep all fingers and paws crossed that her leg is nothing serious, we have a vet appt for her Friday....can't take another financial strain right now on top of our four big medical cases currently!

Definitely all thoughts, prayers, and paws/fingers crossed for a healthy vet report...hopefully it was just a small injury from being a stray....

Even my husband, who normally doesn't "prefer" the WGSD versus traditional coloring...looked at this pup's pics and went "what a COOL looking dog!!!"

No Sinclair....we can't take another dog...LOL

It was tough. We had a big piece of paper here in the office today that started out with 3 names on it, ended up with about 20 names on it and after much deliberation....

The verdict is.......
