I have read numerous times that ears usually stand up after teething. Stupid question coming: teethiing meaning the adult teeth or the baby teeth?

GSD ears generally stand by 6-8 months depending on the genetics, size, and thickness of the pinna. Many dogs' ears stand much earlier than that. It is not uncommon to see ears "drop" again after they have been standing when a puppy is cutting adult teeth.
