So I think I read almost every thread on here about dry noses.

Now I am concerned it could be discoid lupus, but from my reading, it's unlikely for a 9 month old pup to have it.(?)

At 4 months old I began to notice his nose getting dry on the nostrils.

Now, within a week he has lost a lot of pigmentation, and I thought it was snow nose, but the pink part is raised, slightly puffy I would say, and rough. I have been putting Vit-E on it for the past week to try help it 'heal'.

Does anyone have any ideas?

He is on Acana Pacifica, just about to finish the first bag. We switched from Orijen LBP.

Glass pie bowl. I think they are normal inside, but am not entirely sure. There is some pink inside the nostrils. I guess we will head back to the vet again next week. I still need him cobalamin /folate and TLI tested and stool follow-up for the giardia.
