Ok, after 2 weeks and 5 lbs of roll over I can Dremel my sheppy's nails! WOWOW

Only problem is I have to be around speed 5 with a 7.2 volt cordless, 120 sand drum. Is this normal? Should I go slower and push a bit?

We are talking thick nails!

we my dog was 10 weeks old we started Dremel training.
in his puppy class they use to touch the pups with it
on their bodies while they were playing. at home we would
touch him with it while we played with him or when he ate.
we slowly starting touching his nails with it. when i say touch
his nails i mean just a quick, slight touch. when only touched
two nails and that was it. we slowly touched the nails longer.
now my dog just lays there while his nails are done.

whenever we used the Dremel we always praised and treated.
our Dremel is 10.8 volts. it's set on 8.

Turn it up to maximum speed and always use the coarsest sandpaper you can get. The faster you trim, the less heat is generated and the less time your dog has to wiggle before you finish.
