This is a blurry photo I snapped, but I had to share. Knox was digging at her mat/pillow at something. I thought she had stashed a kibble under there, as she has been known to do. Upon further investigation I realize, no, she has stashed a tooth. Under her pillow 🤣

She is 5.5 months old and I feel like I am finding teeth everywhere! I keep thinking surely she has lost them all, and then I find another. Anyway, I just cracked up at the location of this one, and thought I would share. Here is a bonus photo unrelated to teeth of the ladies last week after a nice bath and brush out.

If you miss them coming out, half the teeth will just get swallowed, no big deal but then they don't get the quarter

Awww r pup is 5-1/2 months old as well and also losing teeth like crazy!! So far this month he's lost 7 that we've seen!! We don't remember this with r other pups! His mouth is sore and he doesn't chew on his bully sticks like he use to or play tug of war either so I know he's sore poor guy! That pic u caught of his tooth under his pillow is adorable/hilarious!

Awww r pup is 5-1/2 months old as well and also losing teeth like crazy!! So far this month he's lost 7 that we've seen!! We don't remember this with r other pups! His mouth is sore and he doesn't chew on his bully sticks like he use to or play tug of war either so I know he's sore poor guy! That pic u caught of his tooth under his pillow is adorable/hilarious!

Poor guy! Yes, I have noticed some days she is super sore and will yelp if she bites down wrong. She has also been leaving blood behind of her stuffies some. She has a Yoda toy that looks like he's been through the zombie apocalypse 😂 But then she loses a tooth and all is well! We have given her lots of good things to chew, so she seems to like to rotate through her toys of different materials based on how her mouth is feeling. Definitely a new experience for us!

Poor guy! Yes, I have noticed some days she is super sore and will yelp if she bites down wrong. She has also been leaving blood behind of her stuffies some. She has a Yoda toy that looks like he's been through the zombie apocalypse 😂 But then she loses a tooth and all is well! We have given her lots of good things to chew, so she seems to like to rotate through her toys of different materials based on how her mouth is feeling. Definitely a new experience for us!

Ahhh poor baby, isn't it sad how they suffer! Yup ours does that as well, chooses toys based on how his mouth is feeling! New to us too, he's r 3rd gsd and 4th dog and never had this bfr. He's lost 8 so far this month!!

I collected the teeth and kept them in the freezer.. probably doesn’t make sense.. but I read something about stem cells in teeth… and how you should save baby teeth so that you can use the cells to grow body parts in case you ever need a spare.. I doubt my freezer is good enough… but I figured I could keep the teeth for a scrap book anyway… since my puppy’s new teeth are huge in comparison!

That is very interesting! Well, my daughters each have a tooth in their little scrapbooks 😆 We like to celebrate all the milestones around here, clearly haha!
